Chris Pratt steals Star-Lord costume to visit sick children in hospital
If anyone doubted Chris Pratt's unofficial title of the nicest guy in Hollywood, this may make you change your mind.
The Guardians of the Galaxy star donned his Star-Lord costume and visited sick children in a hospital at LA.
Pratt also visited Dylan Prunty (below), who suffers from mitochondrial disorder and is nicknamed the "Lego Kid" because of his passion for the toys. So Pratt, who voiced the lead character Emmett in the movie, read lines from the movie with him. Awww.
Pratt had said in a recent interview that he stole pieces of his Star-Lord costume so that he could one day visit sick children in the hospital as the character if the movie was successful.
"I stole the jacket and some of the wardrobe so that, if this movie comes... I can follow the example of... Russel Wilson, and go visit kids," said Pratt. Russell Wilson is a football quarterback who visits children's hospitals every week.
He continued: "If it was a big enough movie, to where it would mean something to a kid who's sick in the hospital for Peter Quill or Star-Lord to come visit them, I'll do that.
"That would give me real meaning for this movie, you know?"
Good on him for keeping his word!
