Movie Review: Finding Dory (PG)
It was titled Finding Nemo 13 years ago, but the star of that hit animated Pixar film was arguably Dory.
In spite of her short-term memory, the charming regal blue tang (voiced by Ellen DeGeneres) delivered plenty of memorable lines.
This time, Dory returns to headline her own spin-off as she sets out to find the parents she had lost and forgotten. Tagging along are her clownfish friends Marlin (Albert Brooks) and Nemo (Hayden Rolence).
While Dory's quirkiness can be tiring when delivered in a large dose, Finding Dory knows when to cut away to other characters for respite.
The jokes and story do not hold a candle to their predecessor, but there are enough funny and moving moments to make this a pretty solid family flick.
