Plain and simple videos, but they are YouTube's top earners
Sick of slogging away at work, dragging your feet back home and living the same old routine with salary that typically disappears within a week?
Well all you have to do to solve that problem is to start making viral videos on toys and video games, upload them to YouTube and congratulations!
You'll be a millionaire in no time.
Think I'm kidding?
According to Huffington Post, Social Blade, a statistics measuring website, claims that popular YouTube stars can take home US$20 million (S$27 million) or more annually if they do well, before the cuts that Google takes.
The best part is, the accounts that earn the most are centered around children's toys and video games.
Here are some of the top earners and what their videos are about:
-
DisneyCollectorBR: Earns about US$1.5 to US$23.4 million annually just for playing with children's toys.
-
LittleBabyBum: Earns approximately US$845,500 to US$13.5 million annually for producing nursery rhymes for YouTube.
-
PewDiePie: Earns between US$1.2 and US$18.9 million every year for creating funny commentaries on video games.
-
Itsbabybigmouth: US$567,200 to US$9.1 million goes to this YouTuber for the incredible talent of opening chocolate eggs to see what mystical toy awaits them inside.
-
DisneyCarToys: Earns about US$642,700 to US$10.3 million every year for short films for children.
Moral of the story? All those times your parents scolded you for playing with your toys or video games too much because they were bad were pretty much a lie. Go buy yourselves some of these stuff, take a video of yourself fiddling with them and get rich. Good luck!
