Too close for comfort: Ram rams into drone... and the owner
He figured he could get up-close footage of a ram, by getting his drone to do the task remotely.
But, alas, he soon realised first-hand that rams hate it when humans butt in.
YouTube user Buddhanz1 was steering his machine through a countryside in New Zealand.
Spotting a ram by itself, he then directs the drone a bit too close to the black woolly creature.
Annoyed, the animal charges head-on at the foreign object several times.
The drone fell.
The pilot then takes a video of himself collecting his drone - only to find the angry ram in pursuit.
He wrote:" I was looking for the angry ram with my quadcopter.
"I got a bit close... When I went to retrieve it, (the animal) followed me, I had my hands ful,l so he got me pretty good."
The drone pilot collected his drone which was still very near the ram (seen in photo). Photos: YouTube
Thankfully he's alright.
No idea if the ram's still annoyed though.
