Did you notice the Singaporean connection in Star Wars: The Force Awakens?
Don't worry – no Star Wars: The Force Awakens spoilers here, but there's a Singaporean element among the cast in the beloved sci-fi movie franchise's latest installment.
Underneath the visored helmet in the screengrab above is English actress Jessica Henwick, whose mum is a Chinese-Singaporean.
The 23-year-old joined a host of actors like Simon Pegg and Daniel Craig in landing a cameo in The Force Awakens.

She plays Jess "Testor" Pava, an X-wing pilot under the command of Poe Dameron.
Pava is described on StarWars.com (warning: mild spoiler in the link) as a "brave young Resistance pilot" who grew up in awe of legendary pilots like Luke Skywalker and Wedge Antilles.
After the movie made its debut on Dec 17, Henwick made her feelings known about her role with a tweet:
If you haven't watched the movie yet or are planning of catching it again, keep an eye out for Henwick during the film's final climactic battle.
Of course, Game of Thrones fans will surely recognise Henwick for her part in the medieval fantasy series as Nymeria Sand.

In June, The New Paper sat down with Henwick and asked her which local celebrities would she cast in Game of Thrones.
