Nursing a hangover from all that festive merrymaking?
Maybe that's why you thought you're seeing things.
Why would The Straits Times report that a giant display vodka bottle had fallen in the heart of Singapore's Central Business District?
Let's take a second look.
That's not an online report from the Singapore Press Holdings publication. It comes from The Stratis Times.
Judging from the content and site, it seems the page is a viral marketing effort on the part of Delta Juliet Group, the distributor of Fou-Dre Vodka in Singapore that also runs OnlineLiquorShop.sg.
An attempt to contact OnlineLiquorShop.sg for a comment via the contact number on its Facebook page went unanswered this afternoon (Dec 27).
Whoever designed The Stratis Times certainly did a pretty good job at recreating the real McCoy's look.

Feeling confused?
Here are several things to clue you in on what's satirical and what's not.
1) Who would put hundreds of litres of vodka in a display bottle?
2) Would you believe a "passerby", who claims the accident was a "tragedy" because "so much good alcohol" went to waste?
3) The tiny inscription - in barely visible grey lettering - at the bottom of the page confirms that it is all a spoof:
