New Face 2016: She wants to go skydiving in Hawaii
Emilbiany Nenggal Intong, 18
Student at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts pursuing a diploma in theatre
One of Emilbiany's happiest times was travelling to Mongolia for a theatre festival in June with her schoolmates. "I never thought I'd explore such an exotic country with lovely people and meet passionate theatre students from not only Mongolia, but America, Japan, Korea and China," she said.
If you could travel anywhere in the world for free, where would you go and why?
I can't decide between skydiving in Hawaii, living in an igloo in Norway while gazing at the Northern Lights or watching cheetahs run in the wild in Africa. I love adventure and culture, and I'll go wherever my thirst for adventure takes me. But those are my top three.
What is your biggest pet peeve?
Littering. I make my friends pick up their trash when they litter.
What do you hope to gain out of New Face 2016?
Invaluable experiences, a platform to pursue my dreams and friendships with the other girls, which are already forming.
If there was a fire in your home, which item would you save if you had to choose only one?
The leather jacket that my mum gave me. She used it when she went travelling, and now it's my turn to take it to places it has yet to go. It means a lot to me, it's an heirloom.
What is your biggest obsession?
Coconut oil. Eat it, moisturise your skin or hair with it, use it for oil pulling... The possibilities and benefits are endless.
