Viewers love Joyce Tang's role in House Of Spirits
Supernatural comedy series House Of Spirits marks the third time that Hong Kong TVB actress Joyce Tang is sharing the screen with fellow TVB actor Bobby Au-yeung.
The pair co-starred in four seasons of Armed Reaction, which ran from 1998 to 2004, and in 2003's Witness To A Prosecution 2.
But it is Tang's role in House Of Spirits that has garnered her a lot of attention.
It is no wonder then that the 40-year-old is nominated for My Favourite TVB Female TV Character and My Favourite TVB Supporting Actress for House Of Spirits at the StarHub TVB Awards next month.
Tang told The New Paper: "I did wonder why people are only praising me for this show? But I didn't give it much thought because as long as people watch me act, that's good enough."
GHOSTS
House Of Spirits is about a dysfunctional family of four siblings being haunted by two ghosts. It premieres on Oct 15 at 9pm on VV Drama (StarHub TV Ch 855).
Tang plays Au-yeung's younger sister in the TV series.
They last acted together more than a decade ago, but Tang feels the 56-year-old has become "younger, smarter and more handsome".
She said: "He has more charisma and has become more honest and mature."
Tang said the pair hope to collaborate again, adding: "He even told the Hong Kong media that in the next show, he hopes to be my boyfriend."
