Where to go for Pokemon Go in Singapore
It's almost National Day.
And you know what that means! It's time to roam Singapore catching Pokemon to your hearts' content.
It is also time for Pokemon trainers with Singtel and M1 postpaid plans to rejoice, because these telcos are providing the country with free, unlimited data that day.
StarHub users will receive 1GB of free data for the month of August.
But it's not enough to know that your mobile service providers are supporting your unexpected Pokemon adventure. Potential Pokemon masters should also know where to go to catch lots of Pokemon.
Here are a few places that you can consider heading to this National Day.
1. Orchard Road
If catching that cute Clefairy wasn't enough of a reward, how about a free drink for doing so?
Each day, Ion Orchard is treating the first 100 customers that produce a screen capture of a Pokemon caught in the mall to a drink at Each A Cup.

Don't forget: the mall also provides free Wi-Fi.

If catching Pokemon in the comfort of air conditioning isn't your type of thing, you could also take a stroll down Orchard Road. There are more than 50 Pokestops and three gyms situated in the area.
You may never want to leave the shopping paradise ever again.
2. Yishun Park
Clustered Pokestops mean you don't have to walk around much to replenish the Pokeballs you've been using.
So trainers staying in the Yishun area were overjoyed to learn that the northern area of Yishun park had four Pokestops within a very short walking distance.
Facebook user Lim Zhuang Chen, who lives in the area, took a picture of the massive crowd that gathered on Sunday (Aug 7), lured by the constant stream of lure modules installed by players.

3. Gardens by the Bay and Marina Bay Sands
The public area of Gardens by the Bay boasts more than 70 PokeStops and four gyms, according to unofficial site www.pokemongomap.info.

Catching Pokemon will be a walk in the park, literally.
And if your legs are tired from all that walking, there are quite a few Pokestops in the nearby Marina Bay Sands too.
4. National Stadium
Even if you weren't planning to celebrate the nation's 51st birthday, you may just want to head down to the National Stadium.
Facebook page PokemonGO SG Hunt posted on Aug 7 that they would be releasing lures around the National Stadium area on Aug 9 from 4pm to 8.30pm.
The National Stadium area sports about 10 Pokestops. It is located near Stadium MRT station.
