Accused in murder conspiracy case revisit crime scene
2 charged with abetment by conspiracy to murder taken to alleged abduction location
With restraints around their wrists and ankles, they waddled across the multi-storey carpark in Pasir Ris yesterday.
Two of the three accused who allegedly conspired to kill a man on June 20, were being taken to one of the alleged crime scenes.
The three men were arrested on June 22 after the victim made a police report that he had been assaulted at a multi-storey carpark at Block 747A, Pasir Ris Street 71.
The police also seized items including a meat mincer, a chainsaw and a cleaver from a chalet at Aloha Changi.
Myanmar national Phyo Min Naing and Singapore permanent resident (PR) Zaw Min Hlaing were taken to lot 10 on the first storey of the carpark, where they allegedly tried to abduct Singapore PR Aye Maung Maung Thet, 28.
Phyo and Zaw were accompanied by three police officers who questioned them at the scene.
Phyo pointed out key locations while being questioned.
Last Wednesday, the two accused, along with Myanmar national Yae Wynnt Oaung, were charged in court with abetment by conspiracy to murder.
They were also accused of assaulting Mr Aye and using a Taser gun on him.
All three accused are remanded at the Central Police Division.
They will be back in court tomorrow.
The fourth suspect, Myanmar national Win Kyaw Kyaw Aung alias Aung Aung, is currently at large.
If convicted, each man can be jailed up to 14 years and fined.
