Jail for man who splashed hot oil, soup at neighbour
A man was on Wednesday (Jan 6) jailed three months for attacking his neighbour with hot oil and soup.
Kho Ah Yeow, 59, had earlier pleaded guilty to one count of causing hurt.
He had splashed leftover fishball noodle soup at his neighbour, Bounty Gill, after an argument on June 25, 2015.
Kho had believed Gill had knocked on his door incessantly but Gill denied it.
Reeling from the attack, Gill went into his flat to get a knife which he used to stab Kho several times in the abdomen.
Gill has also been charged and his case is pending.
