A Singaporean man was convicted of culpable homicide not amounting to murder on Monday (March 7).
Rosdi Joenet, 51, was jailed nine years for killing his wife Faridah Senin at the couple's Jurong West Street 81 flat on Nov 17, 2012.
He had stabbed her with a kitchen knife after 5am, suspecting she had been unfaithful to him.
But there was no evidence of an affair.
A psychiatric report revealed Rosdi was suffering from delusional disorder before the killing.
An autopsy performed on Madam Faridah revealed 26 injuries, including about 20 stab wounds, on her body.
