Three more bodies found in sunken barge
The Bolivian-registered vessel was carrying sand when it capsized in Singapore waters, near Pedra Branca.
The mishap happened on Wednesday (May 20) The bodies are still trapped inside the vessel morning, around 4.20am.
Fourteen crewmen (13 Chinese nationals and a Malaysian) were reported missing in the incident.
Today, the search and rescue team found three bodies - bringing the total number of bodies to five.
Divers had found the bodies near the door of the sunken vessel at about 8am, newspaper Star Online reported.
Still trapped
The bodies are still trapped inside the vessel this morning.
The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) had deployed two vessels after receiving a report that the sand-carrier Oceanline SC208 had run into trouble 7.5 nautical miles north-east of Pedra Branca.
Two vessels from the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSS Daring and RSS Fearless), the Singapore Police Coast Guard and several Malaysian vessels were also involved in the operations.
The first body was found floating some 10 nautical miles north from where the vessel capsized.
Fishermen found the second body.
