TNP mugs in demand
World Cup Collectible Mugs score big with readers
To keep up with the huge demand, a final batch of 10,000 mugs will be sent out again, starting next Tuesday.
World Cup fever has made readers of The New Paper hot for tournament collectibles.
They cannot seem to get enough of our World Cup Collectible Mugs, which feature top participating teams like Brazil, Germany, the Netherlands and Argentina.
So much so that in just one day - on Monday - almost all of our first batch of 5,000 mugs were redeemed.
This has left readers who tried to redeem their coupons for the items on Tuesday disappointed.
GOING FAST
The second batch of 5,000 mugs, which were delivered to 7-Eleven outlets islandwide, are also going fast.
But if you have already collected enough coupons and are planning to redeem them, do not worry.
To keep up with the huge demand, a final batch of 10,000 mugs will be sent out again, starting next Tuesday.
But hurry as this will be the final batch of World Cup Collectible Mugs.
All you have to do is to collect 10 coupons printed in TNP till July 31.
The 10th coupon must come from a copy of TNP bought at the 7-Eleven store where the redemption is done.
You can redeem the mugs at any 7-Eleven outlet, except those at the airport.
Each World Cup Collectible Mug has a number printed on its bottom which qualifies readers for the Weekly Draws and Grand Draw.
Mugs are given out randomly, as each is packed in a box. They are then distributed to 7-Eleven outlets islandwide.
Boxes are not marked, so everyone gets a fair chance of winning the Weekly Draws and Grand Draw.
This week's Weekly Draw, announced on Wednesday, is for the Germany number 7 mug.
If you have that mug, you win a $300 cash prize and a World Cup team jersey of your choice.
All you have to do is to present the mug at the 7-Eleven outlet at Icon Village on Gopeng Street, near Tanjong Pagar MRT station, between 8pm and 9pm next Thursday to claim the prizes.
The Grand Draw will be held on July 23 when one lucky reader stands to win $1,000 cash and a World Cup team jersey of his or her choice.
Readers who have queries or feedback on the redemption of mugs can call 6319-3690.
To keep up with the huge demand, a final batch of 10,000 mugs will be sent out again, starting next Tuesday.
