A six-year-old's placard catches PM Lee's attention at Ang Mo Kio GRC's Tribute Night
It caught the eye of Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.
Xara Chen, six, and her brother Xavier Chen, nine, was holding a placard filled with their well wishes to him.
They, along with their mother Madam Zann Tan, 33, were outside the Ang Mo Kio Central Stage @ Ang Mo Kio Town Centre for PM Lee's arrival for the Tribute Night organised by Ang Mo Kio GRC on Wednesday (March 25).
It is one of 18 community tribute centres set up across Singapore for people to pay tributes to Mr Lee Kuan Yew.
On Wednesday night, over 2,500 people including Members of Parliament for Ang Mo Kio GRC, paid a special tribute to the founding father of the nation, with PM Lee and his wife Ho Ching in attendance.

While making his way to the stage, PM Lee paused for a moment after spotting the placard carried by Xara and Xavier.
Highlight
He posed for a photo with the children, and that was the highlight of the children's night.
"I feel very happy!" gushed Xara after the event.
For Madam Tan, though, seeing PM Lee at the event to the event showed how strong he is even in the time of grief.
Said the housewife: "We all want him to know that we support him all the way and that we are with him."

The placard, she said, was her way of telling PM Lee that her family's thoughts are with him.
She said: "It took me three hours to make the card and I'm honoured that he took the time to take a picture with us."
She plans to take her two children to Parliament House on Thursday (March 26) to pay their respects to Singapore's first prime minister.
She added: "Looking at all his contributions to the country, he was truly a legend."
