WATCH: EPL stars try out chapteh
They're used to kicking balls with their feet.
But what happens when you take English Premier League footballers such as Olivier Giroud and Leighton Baines and swop their footballs for a chapteh?
To get their players ready for Singapore when they compete for the Barclays Asia Trophy (BAT) in July, EPL clubs Arsenal, Everton and Stoke had some of their stars take part in a chapteh challenge.
A group of local footballers such as Izwan Mahbud - fresh from his 'god-like' performance in goal against Japan in the World Cup 2018 qualifiers - and Gabriel Quak also flew the flag for the Singapore Select XI that will provide local opposition for the English teams.
While some players had a decent attempt as the others flopped, the identity of the eventual winner might surprise you...
The opening fixtures of the Barclays Asia Trophy will take place on July 15 at the National Stadium featuring Everton vs Stoke at 6pm before Arsenal face V. Sundramoorthy's Singapore Select XI at 8.30pm.
The third-place playoff and final will then be held on July 18 at 6pm and 8.30pm respectively.
Fans can purchase their tickets via www.sportshubtix.sg, the booking hotline 3158-7888, the box office at the Singapore Indoor Stadium or from any SingPost outlet around the island.
