Watch: Kiss92's Arnold Gay and Jason Johnson spend a day at work in heels
Kiss92 DJs Jason Johnson and Arnold Gay literally spent a day in the shoes of a woman after accepting their co-host Maddy Barber's challenge.
To prove to Gay and Johnson that wearing heels isn't as easy as it seems, Barber challenged them to don a pair each for the entirety of their show Maddy, Jason and Arnold In The Morning on Wednesday (July 1).
She decided to issue the challenge during an on-air discussion about a male American video correspondent who complained about having to walk in heels.
"The guys [Gay and Johnson] were like 'That guy is just a wimp, I'm sure it's just Americans moaning'," Barber recalled how it all began.
"I was like oh yeah? In that case why don't you guys do the challenge?"

The duo drew a bit of attention when they walked into the cafeteria.
"We had a few funny stares from Richard who was manning the cashier... he didn't ask [why we were wearing heels], he just gave us a kind of a weird look," said Gay.
Although no one commented on his new shoes, his little stunt drew "fleeting glances" from those having breakfast. Gay, however, saw it as a form of encouragement.
"I'd like to take it that was because we were doing well... doing ourselves proud and in the eyes of the women and girls around us... I'd like to think that anyway."
Johnson, on the other hand, was brimming with confidence the moment he put on his pair of heels.
He wasn't prepared to let the "pinching" sensation he was feeling all morning prevent him from enjoying himself.
"You feel kind of sexy... You walk different, you stand different. It's kind of fun really."
Both Gay and Johnson agreed that while walking around in heels is challenging, it also makes the wearer feel empowered.
"You gain a couple of inches depending on what kind of stilettos or heels you choose, so you are taller and you stand prouder," Gay explained.
Johnson likened his experience to that of Bryce Dallas Howard, who can be seen running in heels in Jurassic World.
He said: "You feel powerful in a feminine way so I can see why in the movie she wanted maintain her feminine power."
But running from dinosaurs in heels is something best left to the ladies.
"I'd probably rather be in my Under Armour sneakers," said Johnson.
"The first thing I'd do is throw away the heels. I'd probably throw the heels at the T-Rex then run," Gay joked.
So finally, who wore it better? Barber has already settled on a winner.
"Jason for sure! He was prancing around like a show horse!"
