Singapore's population: We're getting (even) older
Low fertility rate. An increasing life expectancy. An ageing society.
These are terms that have been used over and over again to describe Singapore's population.
And the latest report released by the National Population and Talent Division shows that isn't about to change.
There are now fewer than five working adults supporting one elderly person. The proportion of citizens aged 65 and above was 13.1 per cent as of June this year, up from 12.4 per cent in the same period last year.
Singapore's population growth is also at the slowest in more than a decade.
Find out how many citizens we have, and the median age of citizens in the infographic below.
