Ray Houghton: Leicester can bounce back
But our analyst tells JESLEEN SOH that Ranieri was wrong to take out dangerman Mahrez
Do you think Arsenal deserved the win?
HOUGHTON: Overall, I thought they were the best team on the night.
The Gunners fought hard for each other and never gave up despite conceding in the first half.
They looked tired in the second half but kept attacking the Leicester goal.
Credit must go to both goalkeepers for making several saves.
Can Leicester recover from this sucker blow?
They are still top of the league, but it depends on how they respond to this result.
Claudio Ranieri and his team have reacted well after losing matches earlier this season and I believe they will show character to bounce back from this setback.
Arsenal played better after Leicester went down to 10 men and Arsene Wenger brought on Theo Walcott and Danny Welbeck. Do you think Wenger got his team selection and tactics right?
He had some good options on the bench and his substitutions worked a treat as Walcott and Welbeck both scored.
So credit to Wenger for making the right decisions.
Do you think the referee made the right decision in awarding a penalty to Leicester for Nacho Monreal's challenge on Jamie Vardy?
I don't think it was a penalty, but I'm not blaming the referee.
These days, players are so good at getting penalties.
Moreover, referees don't have cameras to look at the incident from different angles.
Arsenal had what looked like a legitimate shout for a penalty when Robert Huth tugged at Olivier Giroud's jersey in the box in the 37th minute. Do you think the referee got it wrong by not giving the foul?
I thought the referee got some things right, but also many things wrong.
I don't think the referee's assistants helped the main man in making the right decisions.
Did Danny Simpson deserve a second yellow card for his challenge on Giroud?
It was a silly challenge by Simpson.
Giroud was not in a goalscoring position. I looked at the incident and thought to myself, 'What was he thinking?'. He got two unnecessary yellow cards.
Was Ranieri right in taking off Riyad Mahrez?
I was surprised he took off Mahrez.
Ranieri probably wanted to defend the lead so he sent on a defender (Marcin Wasilewski) for Mahrez.
Three minutes later, he made another quick change with Demarai Gray coming on for Shinji Okazaki.
Without Mahrez and Okazaki, Arsenal didn't have to worry about Leicester's attack and the momentum switched in their favour.
It was all Arsenal after that and they eventually got the winner.
Keeping Mahrez on might have kept Arsenal on their toes as he looked dangerous whenever he had the ball in the box.
How do you think the title race will pan out? Will Leicester's fairy tale have a happy ending or can Arsenal finally end their title drought?
Who knows what will happen?
Arsenal showed in this match that they have their belief back, and they can win the title.
Leicester will have to pick themselves up and move on. I believe they will.
The disadvantage for Arsenal is that they have a lot of big games coming up as they are still in the FA Cup and the Champions League.
*Ray Houghton is a former Liverpool midfielder who played for the Reds from 1987 to 1992, winning two league titles and two FA Cup crowns. He also featured for the Republic of Ireland at the World Cup Finals in 1990 and 1994.
"If I think about the match, I get very, very angry. an international referee gives two yellow cards for normal fouls. But it’s ok, it doesn’t matter. We’ll continue to fight."
— Leicester manager Claudio Ranieri
