Inferno actors ooze Italian style in Ferragamo
For his thriller film Inferno, which opens here tomorrow, director Ron Howard has leading actors Tom Hanks and Felicity Jones decked out handsomely in Salvatore Ferragamo.
Howard, 62, invited the Italian luxury brand to design costumes for the movie, which was primarily shot in Ferragamo's birthplace of Florence.
Inferno is the latest film in the director's trilogy adapted from Dan Brown's bestselling novels, after The Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons.
The outfits designed for Hanks's character Robert Langdon and Jones's Dr Sienna Brooks were meant to be "urban, elegant and discreet", and include a classic navy suit for Hanks with Tramezza lace-ups, and an understated indigo trench coat with Vara platform pumps for Jones.
