Most-tweeted Oscar moment: DiCaprio's win
Despite the #OscarsSoWhite controversy that erupted before the Academy Awards, the show, telecast on Sunday night (US time), attracted just 34.3 million viewers - the Oscars' lowest ratings in eight years.
The upside is that the same show saw The Revenant leading man Leonardo DiCaprio, 41, finally bagging his long-overdue Best Actor Oscar, which went on to become the most-tweeted moment in the history of the awards show.
It generated 440,000 tweets per minute, breaking the record set by Oscar host Ellen DeGeneres' famous star-studded selfie moment from two years ago.
