Grins after wins at The New Paper Readers Carnival
Family and friends have fun at The New Paper Readers Carnival
She collected and cut out a total of 325 coupons from The New Paper.
Using the coupons, she played games at the TNP Readers Carnival yesterday and won more than 200 tokens.
She then exchanged the tokens for a red Panasonic Lumix DMC-X51 camera and several beverages.
Ms Afny Han, 33, a freelance finance consultant, says: "I forced everyone to help buy TNP for me.
"On Tuesday, when there were five coupons in the paper, I bought 10 copies. My friend bought another 10 and someone gave me five. So I had 25 copies of that day's paper alone."
Ms Han, who had cut out the coupons daily, says she used most of them on the carnival's Angry Birds game, where participants use Angry Bird soft toys to topple cans.
She says: "It was the easiest. It's easier for adults because you need strength to pull the elastic band. Last year, my brother-in-law came and won the PlayStation Vita. So this year, it was my turn."
The carnival, which is in its second year, is an event for friends and family to come together to enjoy the weekend.
There are 16 games for visitors to challenge themselves.
By collecting coupons in TNP, one can play games and win tokens. The tokens can then be redeemed for prizes like the DJI Phantom 3 Professional Drone, GoPro Hero 4, Nerf Blasters and more.
Take a cue from the defending champion of the Nerf Maze Competition, Linn Min Htoo, 17. The competition involves a Jurassic-themed maze in which one can shoot targets placed in different locations.
The Singapore Polytechnic student, who returned to play the game this year, says: "I find the game exhilarating due to the adrenaline rush."
He walked away with an Alpha Trooper Nerf Blaster yesterday.

Even tiny tots like three-year-old Muhammed Aqil Azeem were seen enjoying themselves. Aqil was spotted at the Goblets game booth, where he had to toss balls into blue goblets to win.
His father, Mr Muhammed Shulkarnain Sumasri, 37, who is self-employed, says: "My kids enjoyed themselves. They love to throw things."
Mr Shulkarnain, who also has a five-year-old son, adds: "The carnival is very interesting. It's more than what I had expected. It's very well-organised."
