Music to United fans' ears? Top transfer targets drops hints on moves
He left Manchester United under a bit of cloud for Juventus after growing frustrated by his lack of opportunities at Old Trafford.
But it looks like Paul Pogba could be mending his bridges for a possible return to the Red Devils.
Shortly after his agent Mino Raiola threw his long-term future with the Bianconeri into doubt by claiming that his client will leave "when the time is right", football magazine FourFourTwo published an interview with the powerful French midfielder featuring quotes that suggest that he might buttering up his former club.
Love United
Pogba said: "I'm impatient. It was the feeling I had. The coach (Sir Alex Ferguson) had faith in me but didn't put me on. He said that I was too young.
"He said 'your time will come' but it never did. It didn't come.
"But it does not mean I will speak ill of Manchester United. I love the club."
Hummels to leave?
As United fans are left wondering if the talented 21-year-old really is looking for a return to the club that he turned his back on in 2012, they will certainly have their ears pricked up after long-term defensive target Mats Hummels admitted that he could leave Borussia Dortmund.
In what has been a strange first half of their Bundesliga season, the German giants have been embroiled in a battle to keep their top-flight status and are second from bottom with just 15 points from their first 17 games.
While Hummels values loyalty to his club above all else, the Dortmund captain stopped short of guaranteeing that he would stay at the Signal Iduna Park in the long term.
No promises
Speaking in an interview with Sky Sports, the World Cup winner said: "I have had offers from different clubs ever since I've been with Dortmund.
"But that's not a secret and I have always decided not to leave.
"I will stick to my way of not promising anything and maybe leave some day, instead of saying that I'll stay forever and then leave all of a sudden."

So, United fans, are you excited yet? Or will it all end in soul-crushing disappointment?
