WATCH: Ex-Liverpool keeper backheels late equaliser against PSV
Goals from a goalkeeper are pretty special on their own – but ADO Den Haag's goalkeeper Martin Hansen has clearly raised the bar a few notches.
The 25-year-old's side were trailing 1-2 to Dutch champions PSV Eindhoven in an Eredivisie match on Tuesday (Aug 11) when Den Haag were awarded a free-kick in the fifth and final minute of added time.
In a last ditch attempt to salvage a point from the game, Hansen, a former Liverpool youth player, made his way into the opposition's penalty area.
And it was a good thing he did.
The Dane showed great improvisation when he pulled off a superb backheel shot as he met the cross from ex-Manchester United academy player Kenji Gorre, giving PSV goalkeeper Jeroen Zoet no chance as the ball bounced into the bottom corner.
Splendid stuff. Take a bow, Martin.
