WATCH: Iran's Azmoun nets with deadly turn while UAE score Asian Cup's fastest ever goal
Sardar Azmoun scored the only goal for Iran during their Asian Cup Group C match against Qatar - and boy, is it a worthy winner.
The Kazan Rubin striker executed a perfect turn to go with his first touch before slotting the ball into the bottom corner after 52 minutes.
Azmoun's movement was so good, Iran head coach Carlos Queiroz - who has seen some of football's most lethal strikers up close during his stints at Manchester United and Real Madrid - said it was "a great turn at the level of best centre forwards I have worked with in my life".
Certainly high praise for a player who is just 20 years old as Iran secured their place in the quarter-finals.
Meanwhile in the other Group C match of the day, the UAE scored the Asian Cup's fastest ever goal against Bahrain.
Forcing an error after pressing the opponents from the first whistle, Ali Mabkhout slipped past the Bahrain defence to slot home after just 14 seconds.
The UAE went on to win the match 2-1 and qualify for the quarter-finals along with three-time winners Iran.
