WATCH: Russian coach kicks boy during children's football match

Everyone knows how tough Russians are, but even this might be taking things too far.

During a children's training match between Lokomotiv Moscow and Brateevo Moscow, a coach was seen beckoning one of his young charges over to the touchline.

Once the player was in range, the older man aimed a low sweep at the child's legs.

Despite trying to leap out of the way, the youngster could not avoid the blow and was knocked flat on his back with what looks like a heavy thump.

After crawling to his feet, the player hurriedly scampers away - presumably while wetting his pants in terror - after getting an earful from his coach.

Hopefully, this particular training "technique" is the exception rather than the norm in Russia's youth football scene...
