Tonight's launch of iPhone 7 may bring shocking new surprises
At the Apple launch event in San Francisco today (Sept 7), speculators are expecting to see Apple's latest innovation - the iPhone 7 - revealed.
This comes two weeks after reports of Samsung Note 7 users finding problems with their phones, such as auto-rebooting problems and battery explosions.
Apple fans are waiting to see what new features await them in their new tech toy.
But it may not be what most expect.

A video obtained by French tech site Nowhereelse.fr has unveiled a shocking detail about the iPhone 7: that the usual headphone jack in every phone so far will no longer exist, reported Mirror.co.uk.
Fans have speculated that this is due to the great response to reducing the iPhone 6's thickness after the iPhone 5. The removal of this port would make the iPhone 7 even thinner than the iPhone 6S.
Headphones would need to be connected to the phone's lightning port through an adaptor that comes with the phone.
Alternatively, the phone also comes with earphones that can connect directly to the lightning port.
2. Two new phone colours
Besides the reduction of the phone's thickness, another feature that wowed fans was the introduction of new colours.
Apple may be introducing two new colors - dark black and piano black - to its current assortment of four colours for the iPhone 6.
The iPhone 7 would then come in either gold, silver, rose gold, space grey, dark black or piano black.

3. The home button goes home
One of the iconic features of the iOS is that it only needs one button, the home button, to function.
But with the iPhone 7, speculators from AppleInsider have suggested that the home button is likely to be removed or replaced.
The new "home button" could just be a spot with a touch sensor.
When pressed, its device's response would be similar to pressing the home button.
4. A waterproof phone
Samsung's Note 7 boasts a water-resistant feature and the iPhone 7 is likely to do the same.
Mirror.co.uk reported that an analyst has stated that the iPhone 7 will be water proof up to a depth of 1m for about 30 minutes.

5. A camera with two lenses
The iPhone 7's back-facing camera seems to feature two lenses instead of the usual one.
Fans are still unsure what this feature brings to the table, but some have suggested brand new effects with your photos.
In a report by Mirror.co.uk, an analysis of other phones with two lenses suggests that it may offer a greater depth to photos, more vibrant colours, or a wider angle for photos.
But it remains to be seen if this camera would make your photos even more Instagram-worthy.
The Apple launch event will commence at 6pm BST (1am on Sept 8 here).
