Did Tosh's Lingo Lingo video get pulled down due to flak?
It is a music video made by J Team Productions to promote a local one-hour featurette film Lingo Lingo Where You Go - a film that is part of the SG50/Singapore Memory Project which celebrates Singaporean lingo.
Uploaded onto YouTube on Aug 4, the music video titled Lingo Lingo, which stars popular Ah Boys to Men stars Tosh Zhang and Wang Weiliang as well as singer-actor Bunz, has attracted over 79,000 views to date.
However, the video was privatised online on Tuesday (Aug 18).
Speaking to The New Paper, director Shawn Tan said: “I got a call from the irememberSG people asking me to take the video down as it has received some negative comments and they were scared that it will affect the irememberSG branding.
"I told them it is not possible as the music video is owned by J Team Productions and not by them.
“The person-in-charge wanted the video to be off the viewers’ eyes, so I told them I will make it private for now.”
