What's new in the food scene this week
A cool new grocer has opened in Joo Chiat.
Bleu (175 Joo Chiat Road, www.bleu.sg) is a gourmet seafood grocer that specialises in dry-aged fish and offers live, chilled, frozen and cooked seafood, as well as a curated selection of meats, pantry essentials and alcoholic beverages.
You can buy items such as Live Boston Lobster (from $40 per piece) and Live Alaskan King Crab (from $138 per 1kg), then you can either get it prepped and portioned in the store, or bring them home live.
