Zayn Malik to rejoin One Direction - only at Madame Tussauds Singapore
Chin up, Directioners. One Direction will be whole again this July.
From July 10 till October, Zayn Malik will be joining Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Liam Payne at Madame Tussauds Singapore.
The 22-year-old may have exited the British boy band earlier this year but the world-famous wax museum wants to give fans the opportunity to see all five members together once again.
Ms Sharon Wong, Marketing Manager of Madame Tussauds Singapore and Images of Singapore LIVE, said: "We believe that Zayn Malik is still very much beloved by the One Direction Fans. Hence, with all five figures present, the public can re-live the days of the original five even though he is no longer part of the band."
Like the other figures on display, the public will get to interact with the One Direction figures. This means that die-hard fans who want to show their love for their idols won't have to keep a distance.
"We encourage our guests to interact with the figures; to touch them, feel their hair, hold their hands," Ms Wong said.
"I’m sure die-hard fans will treat the figures with respect and tender loving care. However, having said that, we do have staff on site just in case they get over zealous!"
Figure maintenance artists will be on-site to prevent the boys from wearing out after being hugged and touched.
In addition, fans who can't wait to witness One Direction's "reunion" can purchase tickets to the 1D Exclusive Preview Night on July 9.
The first 50 fans will receive One Direction memorabilia exclusive to Madame Tussauds Singapore.
Apart from that, they can also expect discounts on the band's retail and photo products on preview night.
